Q: Do you offer only one photographer?
A: Yes, for small wedding under 100 people or weddings with little to no bridal party.

Q: Do you deliver every image you shoot?
A: No, we do not. We eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery. We do not have a set number of images that you will receive, every wedding is different – we typically deliver 1200-1500 edited photos.

Q: Does your studio provide videography services?
A: Yes. We have our own in-house videographers on our team. This allows your photographers & videographers to work seamlessly together with a coordinated work flow, resulting in the most efficient use of your time. Working with outside videographers is not recommended.

Q: Have you shot at my venue before?
A: We have shot at most venues of Long Island, so there is a good chance that we have. However, if we have not, we will get to the venue early on the day of and be sure to perform a thorough walk-through to scout out the best photography locations. We also do extensive online research prior to your big day!

Q: What is your photography style?
A: We are a mix of candid and naturally posed shots. We do not “overpose” you, we direct you, but leave it up to your chemistry as a couple to find the perfect pose. We love using creative lighting, unique perspectives, angles, comporefining to bring out our clients personalities and beauty while telling their wedding story. We pride ourselves on not just being photographers, but rather artists creating unique and expressive imagery.

Q: Do you retouch all the images in our online gallery?
A: Yes we do. Every image we deliver is post produced with our unique signature style. This involves color correction, exposure adjustment, selective black and white processing, clarity adjustments, and other corrections. If there is something you want specifically touched up, we will do our best to accommodate you. We do not over edit or ‘filter’ our photos, our style is bright and colorful!

Q: What rights do I have to the digital prints?
A: You have the right to reprint images whenever you want. However you may not sell your images for profit or publish your images without the written consent of Foxlight Studios.

Q: How long does it take to get my photos and how will I get them?
A: You will see 40 sneak peek photos on Facebook within a week of your wedding. Your full gallery will take 3 months. You will receive them two ways: in an online gallery and on a USB drive. The are all high resolution and non-watermarked.

Q: Do you have liability insurance?
A: Yes. Many venues require the photographer to have Liability Insurance. We send it over a month before your wedding.

Q: We live out-of-town. Is it possible to have a phone consultation or Skype call?
A: We’d love to meet you but its not possible, we can schedule a Google Meet and video chat!
